Kaluga Kafé fetes Sunbeam, Yadel Home kids

Kaluga Kafé recently feted wards from Sunbeam Children’s Home and Yadel Home for Girls as part of its second anniversary celebrations.
The youngsters were treated to a day of fun with bounce about, games, music, competitions and prizes, a taste of Kaluga Kafé’s cuisine, and ice cones to keep them refreshed throughout the day.

Adrian Samuda, CEO of the Kaluga Group, said it was a pleasure to have the fun day for the youngsters, after hosting Sunbeam at his 18 West Street location last year.

“When I saw the children last year and how promising and hopeful they were, it inspired me to reach further and help to make their lives a bit better,” Samuda recalled. “An important part of that was to provide a special home-style Sunday dinner once per month, and we have been doing that for the past year. But I saw the opportunity to give more, and that is how the fun day idea was born. I am happy to see that everything went well, and that the kids had a great time.”
