Prospect Primary - Graduation 2016

Thanks again to everyone who contributed to making the Amazing Prospects prize presentation a success this year. Thanks to Aunt Frances Whites who bought the geometry sets; and Archie, Bentley - Everton Anderson, Deniece Bailey, Kevin Papouch Stewart, Kim Kim, Simone Vaughan, and Dr. Brennan who contributed cash, I was able to buy backpacks for the two top students – Oneika Nelson (Clarendon College) and Yaniesha Brown (Vere Technical) – plus additional stationery and books.

Wendy Wilson, by the time I added the binder refills (folder leaves) and the stationery you sent, the girls could barely hold the bags to take the pics, lol, they were in fact a bit heavy. Based on the support I was also able to increase the “pocket money” donation.

There were lots of challenges this year, but with your support and my determination WE DID IT! Thanks again everyone! The students were all elated!

Highlights include:
*Seeing Danovan Noble (Current Clarendon College Student, and star footballer since Prospect Primary) seated beside me at the head table; and bringing greetings on behalf of the Past Students. Soooo proud of you!
*Guest Speaker – Mr. Richard Morgan’s speech – Compelling words with the perfect anecdotes
*Playing and encouraging the audience to sing Nesbeth’s “My Dream” before delivering my message and handing out prizes to the 5 top students.
*The “two gifts” which were presented to Donovan Noble by his Prospect Primary batchmates who ‘dared to be different’ as per the graduation theme “Dare to be different as long as it’s right”, and seized the opportunity to tell the entire audience that they are proud to see him at the head table; and proceeded to deliver the gifts (hugs) to the applause from the audience.
*Feeling so proud of the teachers and the new principal Mr. Blake for a well organized graduation.
